Dalu Wang, R.TCMP, R.Ac, R.M.T, has been on the path of alternative medicine for more than 10 years, led by a retinal disease which has severely impaired his vision since 2007 and not yet been officially diagnosed by the specialists in western medicine, ironically and typically. Dalu gratefully thanks this challenge that opened him another door to learn and appreciate life.
Dalu graduated from Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine Academy in 2018 with a Diploma of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, covering 2200 hours in class and clinic. He graduated from Bryan College with a diploma of Registered Massage Therapy in 2012. Besides the formal in-school education. He has spent thousands of hours to expand his knowledge and skill in modern and alternative medicine. In 2015, He travelled back in China, interned with Dr. Wang Xiao Jun to study the clinical application of Classical Herbal Formulas, a unique system that was developed 2000 years ago by some of the greatest physicians in China (A.K.A Kampo medicine in Japan), where he witnessed the power of the Chinese medicine in treating a wide range of diseases from infants to seniors. He is a student of Dr. Wu Xiong Zhi, one of the best contemporary cancer specialists in China treating tens of thousands of cancer patients with both Western and Chinese medicine in hospital. He also studied Japanese Acupuncture style with Kiiko Matsumoto. In conjunction with other amazing acupuncture techniques such as Master Dong’s style, Mirroring techniques. In bodywork, besides the standard swedish massage and deep tissue massage, he studied a unique technique “Original Point Therapy” from a Taiwanese doctor Zhang Zhao Han. what makes this therapy stand out is its effectiveness, efficiency, fast and lasting results also the intense feeling when it is applied. He also incorporate light-pressure manual therapy such as fascial techniques and craniosacral therapy when he sees the conditions need them.
Dalu also has huge interests in psychology, the wisdom and knowledge passed down by Piaget, Freud and Jung along with many other great psychologists, partly due to his own confusion and difficulty in life. He also came to his own realization that it is impossible to pursue optimal physical health without a healthy and strong psychic. Even from the physiological perspective, the regulation center of emotions and behaviors happens to be the very same structure that regulates our autonomic nervous system and endocrine system, the hypothalamic complex. Which is the main focus of his treatment in treating the typical modern diseases that largely associated with chronic stress such as auto-immune diseases, skin disorders, fibromyalgia, depression, etc. The more understanding he has in the human psychology, the more commonality he found in modern psychological approach and Chinese Medicine approach, which makes him often wakes up at night by the sparks ignited by those greatest physicians across time and space.
Dalu is registered with The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) and The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
